Abstract
The Ixora coccinea Linn flowers have been reported to have anticancer activity against various cancer cells due the presence of various bioactive peptides. In the present work anticancer activity of Ixora coccinea Linn flower extract against human breast adenocarcinoma cells was studied using MTT assay. The anticancer activity of different concentration of Ixora coccinea Linn flower extract was studied against human breast adenocarcinoma cells. The IC50 value of Ixora coccinea Linn flower extract was found to be 31.3 µg/ml.  The anticancer activity of Ixora coccinea Linn flower extract was found to be efficient against human breast adenocarcinoma cells.
